Hello, everyone! I am a dedicated and passionate lifestyle financial advisor, based right here in the heart of Nebraska. With a deep love for whiskey and Husker sports, most of my weekends are spent enjoying at least one of those with my family and friends.
I started the Lind Financial branch in Omaha in 2017. My favorite part of the business are the interactions I get to have with my clients. I am an optimist and a people person who loves to create custom work with my clients.
In addition to my passion for whiskey and football, I am a firm believer in embracing a healthy lifestyle. Regular exercise, mindfulness practices, and nutrition play a vital role in maintaining not only physical well-being but also financial well-being. As a lifestyle financial advisor, I work closely with my clients to develop tailored plans that not only prioritize their financial goals but also foster overall health and well-being.

Steve J. Lind, CFP® – Founder & Financial Advisor
Steve is the founder of Lind Financial Services. With over 35 years of experience, he is able to help a variety of clients plan financially for their goals and futures. His strong analytical nature helps guide clients down the correct financial path by explaining complex planning issues.
Steve graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in City Administration. After college, he was a city planner before finding himself in the insurance business. Not long after joining an insurance company, he made the move to become a financial advisor. In 1997, Lind Financial was founded. Steve has also earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER license to show he is a step above the average advisor and to also help his clientele.
Steve grew up on a sugar beet farm in western Nebraska. He married his wife, Diana, in 1989 and had two sons shortly after named Zachary and Tyler. Currently, his son Zachary is partnered with Steve at Lind Financial Services. He now resides in Kearney, Nebraska where he donates his time working on the Board of Adjustments and a men’s group where they look to better the community. As of now, Steve has no plan to retire and will continue to work as long as he is allowed.
